IDEAL

electronic future funk kawaii nu disco pop

IDEAL

Noencity Records is a label out of Hongkong that I have adored since their release of one of my all time favourite EPs, Moe Moe, by Moe Shop back in Fall of 2018. They have released some incredible music from artists like MACROXX 8299, Yung Bae, ミカヅキBIGWAVE and Mark Redito who is responsible for my absolute favourite Underwater Squad remix. Holiday Girl

chiptune cute electronic jazz kawaii

Holiday Girl

"Holiday Girl" by Kshiraki is a soundtrack to the 'chillest Mode 7 SNES racing game' never made. These nine tracks are perfect for staring out of a window and daydreaming. Kshiraki is an electronic artist from Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan with a sassy, sophisticated sound and a charming back catalogue. This is some sunny afternoon pack-a-picnic-and-hold-hands-with-your-homies type shit. Applying jazz fundamentals to chiptune compositions has always been a winning formula. The precise and deliberate constraints in which tracker music is made make riffing on a square wave inherently interesting. Favourite tracks: "Morning Sun" and "Train Travel".  FFO: Derris-Kharlan, Keiji Tamagishi and Elektrobear.  Holiday Girl by KshirakiFind more of their music below!  kshiraki2.bandcamp.com
